Application Process

Further to the GCSE Options Information Evening (11th February) and Year 9 Parents' Evening (27th February), parents will be sent an online application form on Friday 28th February. This form will need to be completed by Friday 7th March, indicating your child's final GCSE option choices.

Key dates -

• 21st January - Options Assembly held for Year 9 students in school

• 22nd January - launch of this website - please have a thorough read-through and begin discussions with your child about which subjects they would like to study at GCSE

• 5th February - parents will receive confirmation of the Pathway their child will be studying (Pathway 1 or Pathway 2) 

• 11th February - Year 9 Options Evening 5.30pm - 7.30pm

• 27th February - Year 9 Parents' Evening - this will be a good opportunity to discuss with your child's teachers their suitability for studying their chosen subjects 

• 28th February - Online application form sent to parents 

• 7th March - Application form completion deadline

• Beginning of June 2025 - Students will receive confirmation of their GCSE options.
